From a listed token to a usable market
- Open the token record and check the official Solana mint against the issuer’s documentation. A symbol or logo alone cannot identify a token.
- Confirm your eligibility with the exchange or issuer. A wallet’s ability to display a balance is a different capability from trading or redemption.
- Inspect the pair and executable quote for your trade size. Account for spread, venue fees, and SOL needed for network transactions.
- Check the exit on the same network. Moving to another chain can require a supported bridge and creates a separate set of costs and dependencies.
